Father's Day

Father's Day is only 2 weeks away.  If you're not sure what to get him, find out his favorite team's colors and  buy him some beads to wear to the next big game.  Whether his favorite sport is baseball, basketball, football, or hockey, we have the beads.  Even if he likes racing, we have beads for that.

We have beads for Dale Earnhardt Jr., Matt Kenseth, Joey Logano, and Jeff Gordon.

If your dad is a New Orleans Saints fan, then we have a whole category of Black and Gold Items for you to choose from.

If you're more the creative type, you could use beads to make a picture to hang up.  The bead collages look fantastic and it would be a one of a kind piece made by the person he loves most.

Luau Time

Break out the BBQ, put on your bikini, and relax with some cold, refreshing drinks.  Summer time is here and what better way to celebrate than with a luau.  Luau's have some of the best decorations.  Women can wear coconut bras and grass skirts and men get to wear the hilarious Hawaiian print shirts.  And no luau is complete with out a lei for everybody.  At mardigrassupplies.com there is everything you need for your party.  Even straws with little umbrellas on them.

If you don't want to do leis and want to be different, then I suggest beads.  Some beads have flamingos on them and some have fruit and drinks.  It would definitely give your guests something to remember.
There is something for everybody's budget.  If you wanted your luau to be wild, there are even animal print leis.  Whatever your theme, make sure it is carried throughout the party.  You don't want to throw a Hawaiian themed luau and give your guests a safari surprise.
If you don't want to make just a regular hamburger, but your culinary skills are limited, then just take a pineapple slice and add it to the top of your burgers and you have an instant Hawaiian burger.  Another thing that is just as simple is taking decorated toothpicks and skewering chunks of fresh fruit.  They are delicious and pretty.

Finally, make sure you have the appropriate drinks.  My favorite is pineapple juice and coconut rum.  It's perfect for a luau and it's cold.  For a more non-alcoholic beverage, you can serve just regular drinks in a can but can make them more festive with luau theme can covers.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is an important holiday to many Americans.  It is a day dedicated to remembering our soldiers who died to protect our freedoms.  Everybody celebrates a little differently but most people go to cemeteries to place American flags at the graves.

Need to buy a flag?

Another popular way to celebrate Memorial Day is to have a barbeque.  No barbeque is complete without some party decorations, food, family, and friends.  We can help provide the decorations or for the DIY people out there, we have the supplies to make your own decorations.

Are you looking for a wreath to hang on your door?  Make your own or buy one of ours.

And of course, you can't forget the food.  Everybody has their own secret BBQ recipe but my favorite is Beer Burgers.  A simple recipe with things you have just laying around your house.

Beer Burgers
 Ingredients
Original recipe makes 4 servings

 Directions
  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix in the beer until absorbed by the meat mixture. Form into patties.
  3. Cook on the preheated grill until the burgers are cooked to your desired degree of doneness, about 5 minutes per side for well done. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
